Welcome to the blog! Today's topic is Bradley Ghast, veteran and consulting detective. 

The first books are already live, Bradley's Gambit and Bradley's Reckoning. 

These tell the beginning story of Bradley Ghast, Navy veteran, who spent his time in the military in more combat than he expected, receiving multiple wounds and it took a heavy toll on his psyche. When we meet him, he is reclusive, living off the land and his disability payments. He only spends enough time in town to restock when needed. In this time, he is merely avoiding and self-medicating. Everything changes when he discovers a drug operation nearby and when prompted to report it, gets sucked into a deeper mess involving murder and conspiracies. 

The first book began as mostly a writing exercise and originally the main character was basically just me but with more adventure. A couple chapters in, I realized Bradley needed his own story and I changed the direction, keeping only his base origin the same as my own. Because, let's face it. He's just cooler than me.

The sequel, Bradley's Reckoning just came easily as I finished the first book. I knew there was more to the story but that first one needed it's own end. Reckoning brought more of his story to life, bringing Teagan back to show more of the relationship and his struggles with becoming a part of society again. This story explores deeper conspiracies and brings a major part of Bradley's past into the narrative. I'm particularly proud of this one. 

So far, I plan on writing one more and rounding the Bradley Ghast story into a trilogy. The last one will be called Bradley's Legacy, and will explore a bit more of his past and solidify his future. Hopefully it is just as good or better than the first two. Go out on a Revenge of the Sith note... 

Maybe somewhere down the line I will write more to his story, like maybe short cases or something. But for now, the main questline will be ending after Act 3. Wish Bradley luck!
